Refinement, Structure, and Facial Balance
Rhinoplasty is designed to refine the shape, structure, and overall balance of the nose while maintaining harmony with the surrounding facial features.
Because the nose sits at the center of the face, even subtle changes can significantly influence facial proportion, profile balance, and overall appearance.
At You Are Beautiful, nose surgery is approached with precision, structure, and restraint to create natural-looking results that complement each patient’s unique anatomy and facial identity.
A Personalized Approach to Nose Surgery
No two noses—or surgical goals—are the same.
During your consultation, Dr. Jae Kim performs a comprehensive evaluation of your nasal anatomy and facial proportions, including:
- Nasal bridge height and contour
- Tip shape and projection
- Nostril symmetry and width
- Skin thickness and structural support
- Facial proportions and profile balance
- Overall facial harmony
This allows for a highly individualized surgical plan designed to refine the nose while preserving balance and natural identity.

Asian Rhinoplasty
Structural refinement with preservation of facial identity and ancestry
Asian Rhinoplasty is a specialized form of rhinoplasty designed to refine the nose while respecting the patient’s natural facial features, anatomy, and ethnic identity.
Because Asian nasal anatomy often differs in structure, skin thickness, bridge height, and tip support, cartilage grafting is required to provide long-term stability, support, and refinement.

A Natural Approach to Results
The goal of rhinoplasty is not to create a nose that looks operated on or disconnected from the face.
Every surgical plan is designed to:
- Preserve facial identity
- Improve balance and proportion
- Maintain structural support
- Create refined, natural-looking contour
- Support long-term stability
For Asian rhinoplasty, this includes preserving ancestry and natural facial harmony while improving nasal structure and definition.
Recovery and Healing
Most patients require approximately 2 weeks of initial recovery before feeling socially presentable.
Rhinoplasty healing continues gradually over time. Swelling improves in phases, and subtle refinement of the nasal tip and contours may continue for up to a year after surgery.
Final results are revealed progressively as swelling fully resolves.
The Consultation Process
Your consultation includes a detailed facial and nasal evaluation, discussion of anatomy and goals, and a personalized surgical recommendation based on your facial structure and desired outcome.
