Starting Investment: Starting at $13,000
More extensive surgical changes, structural reconstruction, or cartilage grafting procedures may increase surgical fees. Comprehensive rhinoplasty procedures involving rib cartilage harvest may exceed $18,000.
Procedure Setting: Performed at an accredited surgery center under anesthesia. Anesthesia and facility fees are charged separately.
Estimated Downtime: Approximately 2 weeks
Procedure Length: Approximately 4–5 hours (Procedure length varies based on the extent of surgical changes and whether cartilage grafting is required.)
Structural Support and Cartilage Grafting
In some cases, additional structural support may be required to achieve long-term stability and refined contour.
Depending on your anatomy and goals, cartilage grafting may be performed using:
- Septal cartilage
- Ear cartilage
- Rib cartilage (when more extensive structural support is needed)
When cartilage harvest procedures are necessary, surgical time and overall fees may increase accordingly.

At You Are Beautiful, rhinoplasty is approached conservatively to avoid over-resection, collapse, or an unnatural appearance over time.
Recovery and Healing
Most patients experience:
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Nasal congestion
- Temporary stiffness or tightness
during the initial healing period.
While most patients feel socially presentable within approximately 2 weeks, rhinoplasty healing occurs gradually over time.
Swelling improves in phases, and subtle refinement of the nasal tip and contours may continue for up to a year following surgery.
Final results are revealed progressively as swelling fully resolves.
Important Surgical Consideration
Dr. Jae Kim performs rhinoplasty for primary (first-time) surgical procedures only.
Revision rhinoplasty procedures are not currently offered.

Surgical Consultations
Dr. Jae Kim’s surgical consultations are $250.
The consultation fee is non-refundable, but may be applied toward surgical fees if surgery is scheduled within 30 days of the initial consultation.
